Movie description
Bruce Lee plays a monk who enters a brutal martial arts tournament to which only the best are invited. His athletic prowess lands him there, but he's also serving as a spy who's out to prove that the contest's manager is a player in the drug trade.

Due to the unexpected success of Bruce Lee's earlier Hong Kong produced films, The Big Boss, The Way Of The Dragon and Fist Of Fury, American movie studio Warner Bros decided to co-finance Lee's next film.

Filmed on a budget of $850,000, Enter The Dragon went on to earn over $90 million worldwide, equivalent to US$512 million adjusted for inflation.

It cemented Bruce Lee as an international film star; it brought him worldwide fame; it created a legend and a myth that still endures to this day.

Unfortunately Bruce Lee never saw any of it.

He passed away one month before Enter The Dragon was released.

Almost 46 years later, folks still speculate on how Bruce Lee died.

Enter The Dragon is considered to be one of the greatest martial arts films of all time.

In 2004 the film was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant".
